Fraserburgh Golf Club is the 5th oldest golf club in Scotland and the 7th oldest
in the world, having been founded in 1777.
The 18 hole Corbie Hill course layout presents a very natural links challenge
which can be a real test of the visitor's golfing skills. The course nestles
amongst huge grassy sand dunes.
Now measuring 6,308 yards it still reflects the redesign in 1922 by the
golf architect, and five times Open Champion, James Braid.
Being exposed to the sea, the course character can change dramatically
depending on the wind direction. Fraserburgh has plenty of undulating fairways
and some particularly challenging short holes with tricky bunkering
