Cruden Bay golf course is set amongst the dramatic sand dunes of the north east
coast of Scotland. The ups and downs you will experience here are typical of the
seaside courses in this area.
The golf course forms a figure of eight which uses the natural landscape to great
effect. The original Cruden Bay course was laid out by Old Tom Morris and opened
in 1899. The present course layout reflects developments made in the 1920's, but
Tom Morris' basic routing is still in evidence.
The golf course offers panoramic views, drivables par 4's, back to back par 3's
on the inward nine and a couple of blind drives just to test your accuracy from
the tee.
